Pigs will be sent to the butcher 180 days from the day they are born.
The average weight when they go to the processor will range between 250 to 350 pounds.
Hogs are sold at $3.75 a pound based on their live weight.
A deposit is required to reserve your pig. The deposit will be applied to the balance of your purchase.
To reserve your hog, select the appropriate deposit amount ($100 half/ $200 whole). Also, please note, your deposit is non-refundable.
The final invoice for the balance of your hog will be sent via email or text the day it heads to the processor. Invoices are due upon receipt.
The butcher will provide Acorn Creek Farmstead with the live weight within 24 hours of the hogs arriving at the processor.
The buyer is responsible for paying the processor the butchering cost at pick-up time.
